Although it may be hard to see looking at the website, things are moving along quite nicely here at EurekaPC. The website itself is in it's final stages, but as Carl said in his blog post it may look a little bare at first. Our first review item is on it's way to Carl and he is sitting by the post box waiting with all the anticipation of a child on Christmas Eve. On my side I've been working hard looking for the right sponsor to get us started. I've got loads of e-mails to write as soon as the site is officially launched. I have an image in my head of what Eureka will
be when it takes off. I hope I'm right. I want to be the place where you, our readers, come to help make informed decisions about what to buy. I want to be the ones who have the answers that your looking for. I am hoping that this site becomes a place where people go knowing they will get accurate, helpful answers in a quick and friendly manner. And I hope we grow. As you can see we are trying to keep banner ads to a minimum. We don't like being assaulted with adverts anymore than the next person.

I don't want to make this too much of a rambling post but there is so much excitement centered around the launch of the site. We plan to have competitions, give aways, and other incentives to keep you coming back, although I think our site will bring you back without the free stuff. I am really looking forward to getting the auctions up and running. I am hoping our readers can get some great deals on some up and coming products that they otherwise may not be able to either afford or get their hands on. I think that is one of the most exciting aspects of our site. Not only can you come and get real answers from real people, you get honest reviews from us, and then the chance to take home the product you read about. I've looked around at some other sites and haven't seen anything quite like this anywhere. So I guess now it's just a matter of waiting for the site to launch and visitors to start noticing us.
