    Grisoft Becomes AVG Technologies Feb 7, 2008 - Carl Bloor - Permalink

Maker of the popular anti virus software system, Grisoft has announced it will change its name to AVG Technologies USA, Inc. as they say people seem to know the AVG moniker much more than people know of the Grisoft name. Grisoft has already transitioned the name in the UK to AVG Technologies UK, Ltd. and this will complete the move.

The company has been buying up all available AVG domains "to ensure a smooth transition to the new corporate identity" and minimize confusion for us common folk.

We at EurekaPC have been using AVG for years now and cant fault its excellent program and daily updates service. We highly recommend AVG for all home and business users.
