Optimus Maximus OLED keyboard
There are just 2 days 16 hours, give or take a few minutes, until the Optimus Maximus is available for pre-order. Computer geeks around the world have been waiting for this day for months. They have their wallets open and not even the $1564 price tag can deter them. And why not? This keyboard is the God of all Keyboards. The Oprimus Maximus keyboard will have 114 fully customisable OLED(organic light emitting device) keys. Each key is capable of displaying images or animations at 96x96 pixels.

With this your keyboard you will get Optimus Configurator software which runs on Windows and Mac. This software will allow you to place whatever image you want on whichever key you chose. It also allows you to change the fonts on every key. There are so many possibilities to what you could do with this keyboard.

On May 20, 2007 at 3:00pm Moscow time limited pre-orders will be accepted. Production schedule for the Optimus Maximus is 200 keyboards in the beginning of December 2007, 200 more the end of December 2007, and 400 keyboards January 2008. With just 800 keyboards being produced, there is no doubt demand will be high and many people will be left drooling over the pictures of the keyboard they could almost taste. Δ
