Corsair TurboFlash 1GB
After alot of people asking and personally I did wonder myself the benefits of having a ReadyBoost device specificly for the job.
Like most, I was curious to see the performance gains, if any, of having a memory device specificly for the task. So I figured I'd get one and run some tests on it. And bring you my findings.
The device I chose actually was suggested to me by a friend, and I figured what better way to test the ReadyBoost feature of Vista, than with a memory device specificly made for the task, the Corsair TurboFlash, a Windows Vista Accelerator.
This device claims to be the easiest way to gain performance increase on a windows vista computer. And they're so confident about their device that it comes with a 10 year warranty(!). To test this thing I figured I'd use trusty old SiSoftware Sandra to do some throughput performance tests on it. Then I'd give it the traditional perception test (i.e. does it feel faster).
